You are living your life exposed and vulnerable.

That’s why you feel overworked and stressed.

Patrick Lerouge Freedom

Here’s an example I experienced that made me laugh…

Being stuck out in the rain with your window wipers broken.

The problem is — you’ve been managing this state for so long that it’s the norm.

I guarantee you are working harder than you have to.

You deal with the heightened stress, and it’s kinda like driving with raindrops blocking your vision on a dark road.

If I know you, you move fast and at the speed you run at, you only can see what is right in front of you—putting out fires in every direction.

  • Using time you don’t have.
  • Limited energy
  • Even less patience

Which only leads to you becoming irritable and short-tempered.

I get it…

Being stuck in a reactionary place sucks, but this is one of the many other examples that I can give about living your life in a reactionary state.

That’s not freedom.

Being in a reaction state puts you in short-term vision status. It forces you to stay in a rushed feeling place.

You know the place…

  • Almost overwhelmed, but you are secretly addicted to it.
  • You get off on it.
  • You find it thrilling because of the chase.

Being in this reactionary state putting out fires like it’s easy gives you this false lift.

Shit, you’re successful in business so far?

Have some news for ya.

Putting out fires because you can is not sustainable. You will not be able to live life in a flow state as you desire.

Imagine what business and life would be like if you could relax and slowly go through a fast day in a chill state.

This could be the norm. All it takes is getting into your body and slowing down to speed up. So you can thrive in your world, not survive your world.
